Students are required to attend workshops and are responsible for information shared in the workshops. Please make time to attend. 

CURRICULAR PRACTICAL TRAINING (CPT) WORKSHOP Click HERE to register and to see other dates  

• Attend this workshop one term before you begin your job search
• Registration for an internship or other applied experience course is required for CPT.
• Deadline to apply is always the course add/drop deadline of the academic term.

F-1 TRAVEL WORKSHOP (online via Zoom) Click HERE to register and to see other dates   

• Know the basics of what is needed to travel within the US and outside of the US
• Attend before leaving the US

POST-COMPLETION OPTIONAL PRACTICAL TRAINING (OPT)  WORKSHOPS Click HERE to register and to see other dates    

• Download and view the Post-Completion OPT Timeline handout  
• Attend this workshop one term before you are expected to complete all degree requirements
• A job offer is not required to apply for Post-Completion OPT.
• Cost: $100 fee to Saint Peter's University and $470 fee to USCIS

STEM OPT EXTENSION WORKSHOP (online via Zoom) Click HERE to register and to see other dates  

• Ideal to attend once you are approved for Post-Completion OPT or…if you are interested in planning ahead!
• Start preparing your documents four to six months before your Post-Completion OPT EAD expires.
• Cost: $200 fee to Saint Peter's University and $470 fee to USCIS
• This workshop is offered monthly

Registration for workshops is required and visual attendance will be taken. Session may be canceled 10 minutes after the session start time due to lack of attendance. Workshop dates are updated monthly.
